Re: Outrage progress
Looking good. The nice thing about the top of the boat is you can build it however you want it and it won’t affect the performance of the boat (as long as you don’t change the CG).
But, I encourage you to sign in to GL’s boat building forum umber power boats and post a thread about your build.

Re: Neel's Palm Beach 22 build
Bryan;
I bought a 5” Rigid RO palm sander from Home Depot and used it to refinish the sides of my Malahini. It worked great. I used 320 grit.
Have you tried different grits of paper? Was what you used too aggressive?

Re: MI Malahini Build, Post Flip.
Thanks guys. The weather has been a roller coaster here. It was 80 a month ago. A week later it snowed for 3 days. It warmed up and now it’s windy and dropping back into the 30’s then next week back up in the 60’s. This is Michigan. But, the Mistress is on her Lift waiting for more warm days. Happy ...

It’s spring and the governor has lifted the ban on motorboats. So, the Mistress is finished and back in the water with her new touches.

I can’t say how it would work, but the dry lock I used in my basement had texture in it.

Re: MI Malahini Build, Post Flip.
I made a little revision on the bow eye. To make it clean (no nuts or mods to the Cutwater), I made a bracket inside to hold it from being pushed in.

Re: MI Malahini Build, Post Flip.
So, our Governor has lifted the boating ban, but the Mistress isn’t quite ready to go in the water yet. Almost there. I refinished the rest of the boat and am almost done making my rub rails; a job I wouldn’t recommend. I got my bow eye and got it drilled in. I built a guide block and needed a short...

Re: Mist Miss - Desert Build
I used the little 4” micro fiber rollers. I liked them much more than the foam rollers epoxy, but that’s just my taste. I did get some fibers here and there, but they were easy to pick out. Good choice going with System three. Remember, you can use a propane torch to get rid of bubbles in it. If you...

Screws are a touch more expensive, but I get a better piece of mind using them.

Just saw your laser . I did the same thing on my Malahini. It really works great for leveling the stem and lining up your keel and stem.
