Roberta & Bill,
Thanks! I've been studying up as hard as still have the ability to and it's good to get simple straight forward answers. Kinda wanted to wait till the Gathering to ask many of these questions but much too anxious to get it all settled in my head by my August 1 start date.

Re: Roberta's Torpedo
Hey Roberta,
On my build, I'm debating whether to let the wood show through or paint the hull. Have you been pleased with your painted hull? Have you found the maintenance any easier or harder? Hate that I am so green but I guess we all start out such.

Matt,
How are you hanging in there? Read where your motor arrived to the dealer, that's great news.

[quote="mrintense"]Starting on mounting the hinges to the seat box flip up extensions. The extensions will be mounted to the overhanging board, but the board will not be mounted to the seat box frame just yet. I'll wait until after the frames are installed before doing that. And in case anyone is wo...

Re: Food
Bill, That flat surface grill top I have is perfect for charing up dozens of dogs at a time. After breakfast is over, I'll knock off some of the heavy off the grill top, stick it in the floater and be ready to grill up those dogs. No problem. I'll be alone with no boat and plenty of time on my hands...

Matt,
Good to hear! Maybe if the creek doesn't rise, it will be a good productivity week then.

Bill,
Looks to me, all the regulars have done this often enough maybe by next year, you'll only have to ask if they are able to make the trip or not.

Re: Celerity Build
Great replies guys! Just the type of advice I was hoping for. Yes I realize a year is a tight schedule for a first time boat builder but for me, it has to be. Without a tight production schedule, knowing me like I do, I could justify taking ten or more years to complete if ever. I'm so like my dad w...
