Re: Attn Georgia: Lake Chatuge Antique and Classic Boat Show

Yeah, I will probably take my boat this year. I took it two years ago but not last year. I will need to renew my membership. As far as Sunday, the show is really over on Saturday, but there are always a few people who stay a little longer. Some also come several days early so they can cruise the lak...

Roberta, it is amazing how fast you work. Have you designed some clever way to flip it? I'm sure you have :D

Attn Georgia: Lake Chatuge Antique and Classic Boat Show

Blue Ridge Chapter of ACBS will hold the annual show at Lake Chatuge in Blue Ridge Mountains of GA/NC June 6-8. The ACBS International Quarterly Mtg (whatever that is) will also be there Jun 5-6. This is my home lake and where our Malahini resides.

Re: Dyno-Jet build underway

Well then this means you'll be done next week right? Seriously, this is turning out to be a little more complicated that I thought it would be. I'm glad to see you got that little problem solved.

Re: Almost Finished Tahoe 24'6"

Wow, that is beautiful! I don't really have a recommendation for your top coating. I used automotive clear coat on mine. It stays in a covered boat slip on a lift with a cover on the boat. I have not had any problems that I can tell with UV radiation yet and it has been finished since 2011. Hopefull...

Re: Using HDPE Piping for a Fuel Fill Line

I have a 90-degree elbow in my system that is HDPE. The rest is marine grade fuel line which does not bend. My elbow has been in use since 2011 and has been just fine.

Re: The Epiphany

I'm glad to see this project is nearing completion. I've told several people about it. If you bring her to any of the Blue Ridge ACBS events, let us know. I'll be at Lake Chatuge. BTW, did you ever come up with a name?

Bob,
I probably won't go to Lake Hartwell, but I will probably be at the Lake Chatuge event since our boat lives there.

Love the video Fergal and it is always nice when there is a song that just goes with the boat. I was in high school when George Harrison released that song. Boy am I old.

Question for guitar builders turned boat builders

I've picked up my guitar again after about 8yrs. As a kid I took lessons, but never really learned. Eight years ago, I bought a Fender acoustic and played with it just a little until my left hand fingers were on fire and I put it down...until about a month ago. Now, I'm obsessed with learning to pla...
