Re: Kill Switches

This came up on a fishing forum I hang out in. Looks like congress is passing a law, if not already passed. I wear my kill switch every time I’m in my bay boat but I have never worn the lanyard in the ski boat. I like the faub idea but 200 bux ain’t cheap. https://chesapeakebaymagazine.com/congress-...

Re: Barrelback-20 Louisville Kentucky

Same one I have in my 240SC

Came standard with a 13” x 3 fluke wheel. I’m running a 14” x 4 fluke now.

That was a rare Tristar BTW and very few had the 454 in them.

Re: Neel's Palm Beach 22 build

Neel,

Could you not rent a storage unit and complete the build? It would be really nice for you to have this completed boat in Florida. Just saying it’s sad to see you give up on such a beautiful boat.

Re: Texas Barrelback 20

psychobilly, all my pictures are of a dusty garage! I'll get some on here shortly. Regarding the rudder packing, I have some questions: 1. I have seen some people put in 2 and some put in 3 wraps of gland material. What is recommended? 2. I believe you cut the gland material to length on an angle. ...

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

Thanks Jim, Tim, Mike, and Billy. Billy, I am trying to understand your idea. I think what you are saying is to surround the front window with a frame that slides, but perhaps you could reword the idea? Recess the rear window and frame both so that the front slides back over the top of the rear win...

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

Thought to ponder Rear window fixed/perm mounted and front sliding. Router inside to recess rear window flush with panel. L Channel for front window to slide towards rear. Cut one piece of mahogany (blue) and then router Chanel for slide. You could then mount this on there with front window. Window ...

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

:D Or a power window from a car or a hand crank one :D My 8 year old son got in my neighbors farm truck the other day. He didn’t know how to roll the window down! Where’s the button? 🤪🤣 Not many have the ole manual cranks anymore. Nice lines Carl and I agree with B Mike, if ya have opening windows ...

Re: Boat for Sale - Just Interesting

It’s stupid what I paid for mine. I wanted the Atlantic skiff so bad but I don’t have the space to build so I had to buy. Crazy what I have in my plastic bote!

Also my neighbors buddy takes delivery on a 25’ Malibu today. Somewhere in the 190k range!
