another issue when building a larger boat is the place to build it. the bigger the boat the bigger the building space needed. I was fortunate in that I have access to a large hangar to build in otherwise I would have been building a much smaller boat. Build what you really want. You will be happier...

bow berths are V shaped by nessecity to match the shape of the bow. thus one side of the berth is much wider than the other. especially when there are 2 people sharing the berth, it is more comfortable for your little feet to be tucked into the small end as opposed to two heads, shoulders, arms etc...

8) Looks good to me :lol: I was wondering if you was going to let them run loose good one on inclosing the wire much neater and like the sheathing I have been known to use many roll of electrical tape to do it always hard to get into if you need repairs :wink:

8) who ever took the motor out left the exhaust logs in the boat so I have a set of 6 cyl logs also fuel tank is still in boat.

8) they look as good as any of the historical planes I have used when I was Historic Cabinet Maker here in Utah for state parks and rec the old style wood planes work just as well as the new modern ones and can be more versicle if you know how to build them you can build molding plans etc' :wink:
