Re: Atlas Woodworking Zip Build

Regarding the Sport Scott 27.7, it is a pretty rare bird but I believe it to be a good engine. Produced in '61 - '63 by McCulloch after they had purchased Scott-Atwater in '57. Brings back some fond memories... my dad bought a '57 Scott 40 project (also 2 cylinder) in boxes back in the early 60's an...

Carl,

Here's an Airmar thru hull installation guide... the Mounting Location section outlines the position issues for different hull types.

Re: Klondike Build

Still waiting on our permits for the move... we're in the CHP queue along with the rest of the "super loads" waiting for approval. Meanwhile, have found the answer for the bleed screw leak on the steering cylinder and will be able to (finally) properly bleed the system: bleed screw detail.jpg The cy...

Re: Klondike Build

Still waiting for CA to set escort date for move... the route has been approved but permits are still pending :? . Here's a look at the bottleneck for the trailer to get on the road. Our width is 15'6" so we're OK there but height will be about 17'6" on the trailer so may need to lift the power line...

Re: Klondike Build

Billy, I think next week should be it... although still haven't heard more from transport folks re: CHP escort. The first 800' or so (gravel drive uphill) to pavement will be a challenge!
