Re: Klondike Build

A brief update,

I finally got the hull flip video edited to manageable size and uploaded to YouTube... only took 8 years to figure it out!

Sorry no music or dialog other than the crew talking... here's the link:

Re: Coronavirus

John,

Two thumbs up!

Best advice I've seen... stay busy, turn off the TV!

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

Carl,

For what it's worth, found this pic recently and thought it might be of some use... you may have already run across this. Laying everything out ahead like you are doing is a really good idea. Great progress so far!

The console is on the port side but should transfer to starboard without much modification.

Re: Klondike Build

Bill,

Have been in touch with transport folks; we will be worked into their schedule for a date after May 4. Survey scheduled for last week in April. So far progress is on track. All finish material on hand, just need to put it together!

A few more: Railings are removed and getting cleaned up for final finish. Found a pretty good starter kit for finishing stainless tube; the individual components are available separately. rex cut polish kit.jpg Here's a look at the railings crowded in the shop... working on one at a time while the c...
