Still hoping for August transport but having trouble delegating cabinet and interior doors, also painting is taking more time than anticipated. Some progress though: Forward railing nearly complete and decking material has be...

Congrats Tony on progress with your beautiful build! And thanks for the Independence Day wishes... the US shares much in common interest and sacrifice with our Australian Brothers.

Best regards,

Re: Orange Peel due to CPES

Agree with need to apply UV protection over epoxy... a good quality varnish after sanding should do it.

Hey Denzel we've got plenty of 3/8" hydrotek scraps... give me an address and tell me how much you need.

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

Carl, Here's a source for 12v LED's. Press fits into a 0.25" hole and has built in resistor. Should last for many years! https://www.allelectronics.com/item/led-12vr/12v-5mm-red-led-indicator-assembly/1.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw9LPYBRDSARIsAHL7J5lLiR9rgKy_0p_HRhY6RPgerhgNDargGfF8O-Xom56sSX7wf_mhrh8aAs2xEA...

Re: Klondike Build

Matt, For anyone considering the trip, there's a hotel overlooking the bay (Waterfront Hotel) on Jack London Square just a short tunnel drive under the estuary from our berth at Marina Village in Alameda. Great restaurants, Farmer's Market on weekends and direct access to the SF Bay ferry system. Le...

Re: Building The Vera Cruise

In the diagram looks like switch lead "2" will have to go back to battery + to give you manual control for the pump.

I would leave wire gauge as you showed on original schematic. Issue here is voltage drop, and not ampacity.

All is looking really great Carl!
