Re: Klondike progress pics

Thanks to all for your comments and interest. I have admired and enjoyed browsing the member's websites of construction details and travels of the great designs represented in this forum. The idea for building this boat began a few years ago when my wife and I heard a presentation by a couple who ha...

Re: New Member

Hi Track, Just slogging through some sanding and prep in the engine compartment. Kind of a slow phase right now burning time with not much to show for it. Have got main tanks templated & engine mounts are built. Rudder is installed. Collecting components for systems etc. Have attached a pic of the d...

Re: New Member

Thanks Gayle.

I'm doing my best to build true to a great design. I'm grateful to you and the Glen-L crew for making the journey possible and to your Dad for showing the way.

Re: New Member

I confess to obsessing a bit over getting the hull turned but had some assistance working out the details of the turning cradle and a good crew to help get the job done. I imagine the satisfaction & relief of getting the flip over & done is pretty much the same rega...

Re: New Member

Thanks guys! I am grateful for your support. I confess having lost some sleep over getting the hull right side up while keeping it in one piece. Looking forward to the next phase. Will post as progress permits.
