I used thin epoxy thickened with silica on all but the mahogany outer layer, and spread it with a notched trowel. On the final mahogany layer, I used fine sawdust I had saved, so any small gaps were filled in with something that wasn't white, if this helps.

Rich, I thought so, as well. The 12 made it jump out of the hole. I noticed with the 13 I get a little tail wag it seems during holeshot if I throttle up hard. I don't know if that is normal, but I don't plan on doing that often. Midrange acceleration is pretty impressive to me.
