Re: Food

We're in floating cabin #2. We use Verizon. On the back porch I get enough signal to set-up a hotspot. If you want to try put your phone in a baggy and see what you can get.

Re: Food

One tip is to pack what you can in your boat. You can then bring it to your cabin door!

That is what I'm thinking about right now. I'm not committed yet. Maybe, I should be.

This stuff is common mineral spirits, Tung oil, phenolic resins and a few other things. One coat of the prime sealer, two on softwoods, and two top coats 24 hour drying time. No sanding unless you just want to. A light sanding and cleaning for touch-up coat. For a quick touch-up just Tung oil.

Re: Hull Identification Number

In Alabama, you go to the Marine Police site (DNR) and download a form. Fill it out and add a couple of pictures and $25.00. Send it in. In a few days they will call and set-up a time for them to come out. They just make sure it home build. They assign the HIN. They put a temp sticker on the stern. ...

A few mornings ago, he slipped out when Lauren fed the outside cat. Later she missed him. He was sitting looking innocent on the back porch, everything but his head wet. He had been in the patio pond.

They have a dense and slightly oily undercoat. They barely get wet.

Re: Barrelback 20'

I call those Guardrails. They protect the boat from hitting the dock below the waterline. What I call "sprayrails", run the length of the chine and deflect water. This is a common confusion that is even called out on the plans.

Yes! Do the spray rail. As you pass the widest part of the beam roll it till it parallels the water. From the bow to mid ship it actually turns down.

Re: Electric, Electric/Hydraulic, or Hydraulic Surge

If you go with surge/disc you will need a 5 pin connector. The 5th pin locks out the surge when you go into reverse. If you use a standard 4 pin the trailer breaks may just lock up.
