NO! ATF it will kill the system! ATF is not good with water,FOOMSSSSSS. When trim first came out it had 10w30 motor oil. Worked better around water. Some time later we went to 10w40 motor oil,10w30 was going away. Now we have trim and power steering oil. If your Mercury has the pump mounted in the b...

Does the motor(trim) sound like it is spining faster than normal? This can come from low or no oil. You can use 10W40 to refill or trim oil.

COULD? I put a fan tail on lets say a True Grit ? Also taking the money out of it ,why Alum over Steel ? The plan part is not a problem,what I don't know is what would it upset ? Alittle more work on the resized Titan.The center glass is 2'x2'. I should be able to see to the next port???

This is what I am looking into doing with my Tug idea? Its about 2.6 gal. Oh,and the boat is steel.
Also a tank in motor room for expantion and another gal. or 2 plus the motor???
