I like to row when I fish.
Sometimes I just nap in the boat for awhile. :D If them Fish wanted in the boat bad enough, they'd jump in out of impatience.

With my current Rowing seat, It's almost a Recliner. About as bad as sleeping in an Air Liner seat.
The Seat is on Rails and Rollers.

This creation is a Lazy Susan boat seat from a Dead Bass Boat, on top a couple of Aluminum Awning Trusses that didn't survive a Tornado.
Then I used wheels from Inline Skates and a real Classy All-thread for axles.
Works smooth and quiet and provides easy access to both ends of the boat.
Never enough eh? "If I could only lay out straight to snooze" Envy, Greed etc.

I can Roll the seat to the stern, prop my feet up on the Bench and snooze for some time in the cool of the evening.
It'd be so much better to lay out pretty straight though.

I've thought of a Recliner for this operation for some time now. I'm wondering if one is already out there? No point in me Re-inventing the wheel eh?

Yeah I did think about that.
But I almost got caught by the owner...

I looked into it and the Cost's was too high. If a Wrecking yard had a lot full of those seats he'd offer me one to get it outta his yard.
But if you went over there wanting one, suddenly the price went up over the fence. :x

I just wondered if there was some Stainless or Poly fiber somebody knew of?
I thought of making a Hinge setup of a bunch of Poly Fibers I have here. Blue Barrels n' other stuff.
Wood reinforced with Poly Fiber or Tin. We have lots of tin in the bushes around here.
The latest (last April) Tornado re-distributed a lot of Barn Roofs.

Engineering to prevent a sudden failure is a must.
An old guy, not too athletic in his declining years, could easily fall outta the boat, or tip the boat over, if that seat suddenly gave way and the old Geezer vaulted toward the pointy bow.
You'd really laugh if I told you I was speaking from experience.
