Can't find a plan to match

Postby RichK » Tue May 21, 2013 5:01 pm

Hi all, can someone suggest a plan that would be closest to this kayak?

http://www.oceankayak.com/kayaks/single ... ambler_11/

I'd be using the kayak on the sea, it can get abit choppy where we are. S&G would be nice.

Thanks

Takes away the fun of building one though and they're au$999 where I am. $500 I wish! Should add I'd like to use it as a fishing kayak too.

I don't know if this helps or not but the Inuit people of Alaska have what they call an; "Umiak"
Try looking that one up!

They sit down into it, wrap the string around the waist. It can be Rolled completely over as well.
