What difference in all the Paddleboards??

What is the difference between a Paddleboard, a SUP, and STU-SUP???
and all the others?
I looked for plans for a 'Stand Up Paddleboard' and they dont exist.
Whats the difference?
Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!! :roll:

Ken, I know a paddle board is the kind you lie on and paddle, SUP is standup paddle board and I don't know what the other one is. There are also sit on top kayaks that can be paddled standing up. SUP is the common acronym for standup paddle board. The only two places with plans for SUP that I'm aware of are Glen-L and Chesapeake Light Craft. I'll bet there are others and I have personally watched quite a few vids on youtube.
