Sculling skiff

Postby njsharky » Tue Sep 22, 2015 7:09 pm

I purchased the plans for the Sculling Skiff and I'm in the process of building the sliding seat rigger. Should be completed in a couple of weeks.
My question is once I build the hull would I be able to adapt it to a aluminum wing rowing rigger (Wintech manufacture) instead of building the wood riggers in the plans?? I'm not much interested in the wood rowing riggers the plans call out.

If anybody could shed some light on how or what I need to do to adapt the hull to a winged rowing rigger it would be much appreciated - as a newbie this is my first stich & glue boat project and hope to complete it by the end of next summer.

Thanks,
Guy

Welcome! Sorry, don't know anything of sculling but am interested to see what you come up with!
