The inside is rather difficult to clean up and fair all the strips.
I made a heavy scraper from a floor scraper, and shaped the blade per one of the building forms.
I had 2 blades, and made 4 different radius to use.
Bolted it to a 2x4 for a handle.
I did more scraping than sanding, and thats a good thing !!!

That's what I used when I did my own designed wooden rowboats, it saved me ages instead of just sanding for hours and hours, or spending some serious money on a sanding machine.

Anyways, I really like that design, it looks like a tiny modern Viking drakkar, do you have any plans to carve a small dragon head on the bow? :twisted:

Kens I just placed you in the furniture builder category for future reference. some of us build work, play, jewels like Seaquin, award winning etc boats but now you have gone and built water bound furniture. Absolutely beautiful. Kens do not put a big block in her :P

Hey, I cant build furniture!!
I cant make a square box, cant make cabinets, none of that.!!!
I build boats bcause there is nothing square in one !!
