Sweet!

In case you missed it, someone keeps photo bombing the shots of your fine boat!

Sport fishing for Dungeness crab opens in 2 weeks stamped new ID plates for traps and added 3x5 trailer buoys to identify as sport trap in case of whale or turtle entanglement. I cast that anvil in college 44 years ago :D

3 coats of Pettite EZPoxy Hatteras White on side planking now, 1st coat on inner hull, sand, roll and tip 2nd coat on inner hull today. It takes 3 coats, from what I read it is a disaster if the coats are to heavy so I am rolling and tipping with a brush. It takes 2 days for coats to dry to sand and 14 days to cure hard. Sport Dungi crab opens this Saturday I am not going to make it. Leland

Vessel Astera is ready to splash but waiting for a little warmer weather because doggies and me will get all wet. This high pressure will break soon, the frosty mornings will go away for a while, we'll get some rain, the migrating fish will come into the rivers and we can get out on the river and work the oars, electric trolling motor and 6hp Suzuki. Oak is over rated, everything about it takes extra time; then it warps, splits or checks !!!
