Believe me, I saw more than one rig in my rear veiw mirrow hit the side of the road in a hurry..

I am surprised the smokies did not stop me over those 1300 miles.

Few things in the world measure up to the thrill and satisfaction of boating in a boat that you built.

Billy,
I had a few more models to post before I saw your kayak. Now I'm just going to pack up my toys and go home. :( Beautiful work. :D

Billy most of my mess is built for duty with the 20=20 topcoats. I rarely soil my soles these days anymore over yonder. With my last hull being launched, and most old coots being gone, its just not worth the battle.

Alright Billy, I have another one for you. Booth Bay Lobster Boat. Be easy on this one. Just as the real ones are work boats, this is a working model.

Now for the rest of you out there. Come on we want some pictures. I would post my boats, but all I have now is a 14' pond boat and an almost 20 year old 24' pontoon that needs a major face lift. If I can post my models surely somebody can post the real thing. :D

This is a little boat I've been working on for over three years; almost ready for the lake.I started this project before I knew about the Glen-L web site but, since have found a lot of valuable info and, a wealth of knowledge. It is made of fiberglass with a mahogany deck. Two more coats of varnish and I can re-install the coming and hardware.

close..But it was built from a set of Hacker lines out of 1920 motorboating. I change the bottom to a more modern design. I also scaled it up to 16'6"
I put a mercruiser 233 that I purchased from a guy on this web site. Ford 351/ velvet1:1 /13x13 prop 7 degree shaft anlge. porpoises bad but, I think I can correct it when I get it back into running shape.
