The past few years Bob Perkins and I have been throwing out the idea of getting his gorgeous Biscayne and my Belle Isle together for a day of boating and celebrate our launches over a beer or two. We had been cyber building together on the forum, sharing our ideas and helping each other keep the builds alive.
(this was great timing as i was not a happy camper this week having to cancel my Gathering vacation in a floating cabin i had reserved since December :( :( :( that is going to be such a great time. envy you guys that can go.)
anyway.... this past Friday Bob trailered to the Back Bay launch at Lake Winnipesaukee NH and we took the girls out for a spin. For those of you who like pictures here are a few Bob and i took of the day.

This was a lot of fun - Thanks for posting Billy. It was great to meet you in person!

We could have stood on the dock all day and just fielded questions from passers by...

Here are a few more:

I have a serious question. How do you guys and the others on here make yourselves put your beautiful boats back on their trailers? :( I couldn't do it. I can hear it now. "Where's Chip?" He is out on the water. "When do you expect him back?"----------We don't. :D
Thanks for sharing guys.

I sure wish you two were coming to G4 next month. I'd need to stay on the porch. But, with all the GREAT BOATS, maybe I could get a ride!

i hear you! i hate to float her back on the trailer at days end, but she is usually light on fuel and padding in might be a PITA

Bill you have a great boat(s) and so much wanted to meet you and Butch at the G4. Sounds like the two of you get a few outings together on the big pond! Meeting other builders is so therapeutic. someone that can talk building boats and more is heaven!

The Admiral and I will be retired by next Gathering so nothing will stop us from attending :!:
...thanks everyone for letting us share our boating adventure pictures with you!
