Thanks to all of your guys for looking out after me...
I started getting some bad cramps again in the arms and hands the last couple of days and had even doubled up on some of the meds trying to get rid of the damn things but the only thing that has helped so far is a heating pad. I called my doctor and then had to drive in 20 miles for some blood work but not much choice on that issue and they will let me know what is going on with me tomorrow. Drats.
I think this all started about 2 weeks ago when I picked up a bug in the gut and ever since then have not felt to great. Sure is the pits getting old and falling apart just about the time I was having some fun building boats...
Maybe this is a temp thing and it will blow over in a bit and I will feel much better so I can get some kind of decent life going again.
Jimmy

Hi All
Well got back into the mood swing for working on the guitars and it sure make a difference too when the shop is warm and not 30F in there with cold hands and feet. I finished up the big jumbo but still need to do some tweaking on it to get it setup right and also let the laquer setup good and solid. My My, how the old fingers get to smokin' when they haven't been plucking around on the strings. Whew...

Now for me. Course you all know I was having kidney problems and still do but I think at least I can keep off the dialysis for sometime to come. Why??? I had read an article on the net about some UK doctors usking Sodium Bicarbonate to quell the build up of the creatine level in the body. Since my doc did not put me on this medicine I questioned him about it and then he put me on 650mg twice aday. 2 months later my creatine level went down or at least checked, then I went to 650mg 3 times a day and it dropped about 12% from the previous reading. We then talked it over and decided to try it doubled in the morning and at night or 4 pills. So far I am feeling much better and hoping for the best when my next visit will be June 2nd and sure would love to see that creatine level dropping close to normal or some huge percentage points down. I know I have been more active in the yard and garden and working in the shop and it not getting me down like it was when Oyster gave me a hand, I was nealy shot down then for sure. So if things keep working out I will get back on that boat of mine and see if I can do some adding onto the sponsons and see if she will float better and do some high end knots.
I will take some photos of the guitars and post them later, right now I am working on scraping down the banding on the classic guitar and hope it turns out okay too. My D45 model took a turn for the worse and my own fault. I used two different types of laquer sprays and the last ones started eating the base coats and softened it so bad I had to scrape all of that crap off. Now waiting on some water based laquer spray to see how that will work out for me.
Hope the gang is all doing good and things are rolling along for a good summer.
Jimmy

Thanks Bill...there for a spell things were looking pretty bleak and I was getting to be a unhappy camper for sure. Since the bicarb kicking in I sure feel much better and am hoping that will continue to work okay. Kind of funny they tell you to get off the Salt and turn around and give me a double dose of it. Least the blood pressure is normal, 118/76, and beats the hell out 195/115 like it was. Even the itching has abated from the use of the bicarb as there for a bit I was wondering what the hell I was getting into and might not get out of other than keeling over and going pointed end up.

Hi Bruce
As you can see the huge dreadnaught is just a plane Jane, did not even try to put on a rosette this time. The guitar was over sized for sure and I was in doubt about the sound of it so did not want to put a whole lot of effort into it and it be a bag of worms too. I need to do a little fingerboard work on it and clean that up but so far it is playable. The bridge needs to be lowered some more yet too but I am going to wait till the laquer hardens real good and see how the tone keeps improving. I am hoping I can get my old butt in gear and crank out a couple more this year.
Jimmy
