"My 28-foot wooden circular mahogany slide took more than 15 months to build. The slide was formed with a cold-molding technique that used two kinds of mahogany, 30 gallons of epoxy, and 40,000 staples, 36,000 of which were removed after the epoxy dried. Once the slide was installed in my home, spiraling stairs were built around it so that they were “married” to its curvature," explains inventor Scott A. Jones.

those grandbabies will love ya for it!!!!! 30 gallons huh.... sounds like you should just buy a 55 gallon drum of epoxy and then you would have 20 gallons left over.... A good reason to start your next boat when you complete the slide!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bet with your practice you can make it much smoother than that...obviously that builder never built a Glen-L !!!

I built one of those once out of corregated aluminum pipe....kinda like moguls on your butt..didn't even bother getting a patent on it !
