Thanks UPSPIRATE for the suggestion, I'm still learning my way around the forum (my first go at any forum). I'm about an hour and a half north of you, a little place called Chiefland. I've been to the sponge exchange there in Tarpon many times selling sponge with my father when I was a kid, before it was turned into shops. I was put to work from the time I was ten during the summers getting sponge. We kept them in the old stockade cells with the antique locks then on the day of the auction we would line the bunches up on the concrete for the old greek buyers to survey. Every minute of that drive from the Keys seemed like an hour.
