Thanks for the great book review, Bill :)
And thanks to all the forum member who bought copies and helped promote Abby's first book. It has been a huge success, and has given Abby a real sense of accomplishment. For the second time, I've run out of books. But another order is due in the mail on Wednesday! :D :D

Abby, Glenda, Daisy (the dog), and I are leaving on another trip this Saturday. The plan is to curcumnavigate Mobile Bay, spending 3 or 4 days in the Mobile/Tensaw Delta. We'll start in Gulf Shores, go up the Eastern Shore and into the Delta, visit the indian mounds, Civil War sites, and try to find an alligator or two to photograph. Then we'll come down the Mobile ship channel and the Western Shore to Dauphin Island. If the weather is good when we get to Dauphin Island, we may make a run West to Bayou La Batre and try to get a glimps of the boats featured in the TV series "Big Shrimping". Then we'll head back East along the Ft. Morgan Penninsula to our starting point.

I'll try to keep the blog updated, although I'm not sure what kind of internet connection I'll be able to get there.

We received our copies as well! My kids love the story.

I just wanted to post on here and say that I recieved our copies of the book very quickly and my twin girls really enjoyed having personalized copies signed by the author. They say in my lap as we read through it and really enjoyed it. I loved how well it read and how Abby described things along the way. I also liked how she explained things from a little kid perspective :D

Bottom line, get a copy for every kid you know :!:
