My alarm is set for 4:00 am tomorrow (Wednesday), and we will hopefully pull out of the driveway by 5:15, headed to Nickajack Dam.
Grand-daughters Abby and Dakota (10 and 9 years old) will be with us, along with Daisy. We'll see if 2 girls, 2 adults and a dog can survive for a week on a 20' tug boat
The plan now is to travel from the dam to Chattanooga on Wednesday, and Thursday and Friday we'll go between the downtown riverfront and one of the marinas upstream of Chickamauga Dam. There is a pretty good chance of rain both days, so we'll take in the aquarium, museums or a movie. Then Saturday we'll head back downriver and either anchor out or stay a Hales Bar. Then Sunday, Monday and Tuesday we'll continue downstream to Goosepond Colony Marina and maybe as far as Guntersville and back to the truck.
I'll post pictures to the blog as often as I can.
