Life just isn't fair sometimes

Post by slug »

Imagine my dissapointment when I found out I had spent all that time and money to build my Titan when I could have had this one for almost the same cost! AND I could still get to finish the interior...what a deal!

Oh well, guess we'll just have to motor on as is :(

Doug!-- ru kidding!? thats butt ugly for a tug--it has too high a freeboard at the counterstern, has no fantail- no bulwarks!

- it is listing slightly and needs ballasting. the colours are terrible--it is overpowered, it has no fendering- no rubrails, as it looks now the stability is in question -the windows look like they came off a millenium falcon..ewwwwww....

the titan is much more proud. and thats a Jay benford design called the grivit--its only 14 ft l.o.a. for 35000?..i could have two boats for the price of that one...i wouldnt give him 3500.00 for that boat!

no regrets you made the better choice to build!! cheers!

Actually, I think it will capsize if he loosens the dock lines    .

Can hardly wait to get back aboard the Titan ...we plan on going up the Rideau system to Ottawa, then after a couple weeks break, going up the Trent Severn to Georgian Bay for the 2013 Tug Fest. We were almost there last summer, but were unaware it was on.
It was the weekend after we got back home...we were only about two days away.
Verna refused to load it up and trailer it, as there was/is still some finishing work to do. ( Isn't there always?)

The worst part of that boat would be the sound of rustling paper as you drive it, because there is absolutely no way you could be seen in that ugly bucket without a paper bag on your head.

Just who thought using a 3 year old's finger painting as boat plans was a good idea?
Some plan to stroll through Saint Peter's Gates, I plan to go through them at 150mph... backwards... in a screaming ball of flame, with a glimmer belt wrapped around my head, and a NOx button in my hand.

The design was better understood when I found a photo that included the owner.

Peter...FYI there is an aluminum Titan under construction in Australia, but not sure where. Scott bought the completed hull from Carlos and is finishing it.

Peter; I had a Kubota mini backhoe/tractor and loved everything about it. That's what sold me.

User name of new Titan owner is "Cool Runnings" No address shown.
