I've never seen a tube like this before!

Its made of metal and has a crimped bottom on it......is there not supposed to be a plunger-type thing at the end?

David,

If the tube looks like the one on the Sika web site, then you"ll
need a caulking gun too use it. Paint stores should have the gun you need.
Spend the extra$$ for a good one, it makes a big difference
