Poxy Grip

Postby Andy Garrett » Tue Dec 30, 2014 7:48 am

Hey gang, just a product review here.

When I finished my boat this past spring, I got back into the knife shop and started making custom knives again--a hobby which was mostly put on hold for the 3.5 year Zip project.

As it turned out, I had a lot of Poxy Grip left over and since my typical knife making epoxy (Loctite) was beyond its shelf life, it was a 'no brainer' to use the Poxy Grip to afix handles to tangs.

The Poxy Grip is much more rigid when cured than other epoxies I've used for the craft, but it seems to work very well. I've spread the word among other knifemakers, so maybe it will gain some traction.

It just goes to show that there are plenty of uses for your leftover supplies.

Perhaps the slowest Zip build in Glen-L history...
