News of Progress On Your Boats is .....

Post by BayouBengal »

I've probably viewed and posted to the site here more in the past couple of weeks than ever before. Why? Because all the news, conflict, and squabbling around the world is so depressing that I have no desire to look at any of the typical news or social networking sites that tend to be part of my daily life. This is about the only site I care to visit as of late and I'm certainly not going to opinionate here on the state of the world one way or the other. I'm just here to say, it sure is great to be able to visit a website where people are helping other people all over the world realize their dream of building their own boat instead of having pee-nanny arguments. Thank you all my boat building brothers and sisters for sharing your boatbuilding dreams, advice, and pictures. Right now, news of progress on your boats is the only news worth looking at.

Jeff

I agree with you! I'm sorry that a bomb killed people in the middle east. But, it doesn't change my life.

I just got the new trailer home. I plan to have the Bartender on it by the end of the month!

Bill

Now that's what I call an important exclusive late breaking news story.

You'll only see it reported here on the Glen-L.com Boatbuilder Connection folks. Stay tuned.

The way I see it, it's either move somewhere off the grid tucked away from all that's going on, or build a boat. Think I'll choose the latter

I agree!! Even though I haven't touched my dyno-jet build in a long time, I still lurk here in the forums every day just to keep my mind on boats and boat building.

I can't get online everyday at times but I too feel that I prefer this to the crap on the news. I've felt that way for a long time. Actually gave up TV completely about 8 years ago.

I also check the forum first in the morning. Much better watching the boats moving forward than the world moving backwards. After here, I check to see if SV Seeker has any new video.
