No, that was last year. We are in very cold Wisconsin right now. Heading for Florida in a few.

Roberta

I thought you were going back to Arizona. Where in Florida? If you come by way of B'ham you have a free nights stay and a hot meal!

Rich thinks we probably will. Probably a hotel parking lot might be better for the Expedition and boat, though. I'll let you know. Dinner would be Great, not to mention company. :D

Roberta and Rich

You are certainly welcome here. Let us know. There is no good way through Atlanta. Malfunction Junction in B'ham is being rebuilt. It's a mess for a few miles. It's not as bad as ATL. We are just south of B'ham. in Pelham. We're at I-65 Exit 242. just north of us, at Exit 246, are most of the typical hotels and restaurants. Then you would cut across to Hwy. 280 to Columbus GA, then to Macon Ga to I-70. The GPS will try to take you to ATL. Don't do it. We're going to Savannah next weekend. We will go through Macon! At Macon, you can pick up I-16 to go to the east side of FL. what is that I-95?

Just let us know.

Some recent pics of Torpedo 1.6. Fairing up hull planking and sub decking. Running gear and device mounts in. Next is to seal it up and paint the hull white and blue with a red boot stripe. Then the decking will be applied and finish coatings.

Looks good,Roberta. What did you use for fastening ply panels? When it's done, are you going to launch it with mini-truck and trailer or by "Hand"?

Thanks, guys! I used epoxy and tiny screws to attach the plywood planks and sub decking. I also used Zap crazy glue in lot of areas like framing and other structures. It is building very much like the full size Torpedo.
