2020 was a boating bust

We never put the boat on the water once this year. That's the first time that has happened since completion.

Here's hoping 2021 is MUCH better in every way.

Our season was pretty much a bust, too, this year. Did a local lunch run to test the boat and a long weekend up nort for a classic boat Rendezvous. Torpedo going up on jackstands for the winter soon.

Really? There was nothing else to do in Michigan, except take my boat out. My liver is not too happy with me, too many stops at the sandbar.

I'll probably pull it out in a few weeks, hoping to make a Huron river run once the fall colors pop a little more.

I hope 2021 is better for everyone.

That's a bummer,folks."Chug" spent her summer in the water.Put JD Select bottom paint on a couple of years ago and she still looks good.Diddy-mo from the lake wouldn't stick.Took her out in the rough stuff a few times and know what I'm going to change on her.

But it was a bummer too for me-I was locked out for running up into Canada.Had to stick to the open water areas of Minnesota.Only a few gunkhole spots.

I got out yesterday for a little bit. It was chilly and the lake was pretty empty. We're supposed to get some warmer weather this week, so I'm going to keep my boat in as long as possible.

2020 has been a total bust for me! No boating, no Gathering, no trip, Mother-in-law just had bypass surgery, the refrigerator ice maker just went out, about time to buy two cars, Hurricane Sally...

On the flipside, all that has saved a bunch of money.

No boating in 2020, sold my boat almost 1 year ago. I was building a new house and figured after i was done with that, i would start building one. Well got the steal building done. Then work got nuts and the hoise took a back seat

That’s a bummer, sorry to hear,

We have had a cracker year of boating and loads of fun.
And the good thing is we boated all through our winter(not that we get one)!

Better year for everyone next year hopefully.

Boating for me in 2020 wasn't so much a bust even though I didn't do any. It had more to do with not quite being ready yet. I did miss my once a year ride on my friends 28 foot Yellow Jacket. The good news is that COVID has allowed me more time to work on the boat so I made some good progress (for me anyway).
