David Grason no longer a moderator

Post by Dave Grason »

I've decided that the responsibilities of being a moderator for the Glen-L forum no longer fit into my schedule.
Isn't it amazing!! The person that never has the fortitude to pursue his own dreams, will be the first to try and discourage you from pursuing yours.

Dave:

I am sorry to hear that you will no longer be our moderator. You have done an amazing job keeping this community engaged and "on track". We have a very special and cordial forum here, and I attribute much of that to your tireless efforts (many of which, I am sure, go unnoticed and unrecognized).

Thank you for the countless volunteer hours you have spent nurturing this forum on behalf of the Glen-L boatbuilding community.

Bruce.

Dave, you have been warm, friendly, welcoming and always open to ideas and suggestions. I don't know if it was the forum upgrade that opened a hole and brought on the spammers but they sure seemed to come shortly after the upgrade. I am sure the spammers have made the moderator's life miserable and I am sure there have been some curt notes to you about them; you are a gentleman for absorbing the incomming and not letting it show. I will miss you Dave, you have always made me feel welcome. I hope you visit the forum occassionally and I hope some day to come to the South to meet you. Leland

Dave buddie !

Thanks mostly for the laughs. Making the moderator job something to be respected cannot be done by just anyone. You were firm and gentle, kind and stern, and you could cut someone up without them even knowing they had been cut. Must be a southern thing, cuz my neighbor is always saying "Bless his heart" when she talks about me..I am not sure that is a good thing !!

Stick around, hope life is not getting in the way of your living. Trust me, I am there right now, but I will muddle through it ! I wish you the fair winds and following seas stuff too.

Love you big guy, y'all come back now ya hear?

Steve

PS..Your wife is hot, can she at least post sometimes if you arent around ?

Dave,

Thanks for all you've done. You can see the respect that these respected builders have for you. Nothing I could write says more than that.
