Hello All,

What are you guys using to seal the screws that old on fittings such as handles, fins and such. I know silicone isn't good for really anything, ... so what's out there these days?

I used 3M4200. You can use 3M5200 if you never plan to remove the fitting.

I used BoatLife sealant. Comes in yellow and black colored tubes.

Thanks For the answers everyone.

But what do you think about plumbers putty?

It's cheap and pliable and I already have some. Maybe I should do a test with some of my paint swatches to make sure it is compatible.
