Now I understand why you guy's are considered "amateur" boatbuilders.

The smart builder sends the wife out to do the sanding :)

I sometimes find sanding relaxing. I also decided to train my help early.

Charlie

The important thing is that all his life he'll remember. He helped build a boat!

Bill, You are so right. He was very proud of helping drill bolt holes in the gusset plates he decided to bring one to his Pre-K class for his show and tell day.

Show and Tell. = Do they still allow those?

Wow, tell him if he keeps up the good work as the shop apprentice that he can take the whole boat when it is done. Now that would be a "show and tell"
:D :D :D

Dave, I have bearly started the Flying Saucer and he has already asked for his own Tubby Tug so he can take it out fishing all by himself.

So this is not a total highjack I still like sanding, sometimes.

Everyone (whether they admit it or not) simply LOVEs sanding. Because thru all of muscle aches, agony, language malfunctions and other assaults to our sensibilities, a beautiful work of art materializes. Now who cannot love that process!!
