Hi , I built the gentlemens racer last year I just keep the bottom with a clear epoxy finnnish, I would like to paint the bottom up to the water line. I want the classic redish brown look with a white water line stripe. Does any one have a suggestion for a good paint to put over the epoxy?

thanks

I think I would simply add copper powder to epoxy resin, and apply that.
I used graphite powder/epoxy on mine project, and it is a black bottom cote.
If you happen to use aluminum powder, it would be silver looking.
If you use copper powder/epoxy it would look like the old school copper bottom paint.
