I thought an old man with 4 back surgeries flipping a monte carlo over by himself would at least get a " yeah sure" from somebody. :D

Well, show us the pics (or pecs) and then "maybe" we will give you an attaboy. Gotta have proof that we don't want to meet you in a dark alley

The question that is begging to be asked is why you flipped it back over? Or did I miss something in the translation.

well I saw that last night and thought that you must have figured out some sort of pully system. I know a guy that flips over 18'+ vdrive flats(bare hulls) all the time by himself but he uses a hoist on one end and a engine crane on the other to do it. So I really didnt give it much thought execpt that I wondered why some of the other guys had to have 8-10 guys there to flip their boat...

flipping the boat with 8-10 guys is as much about the food & beer after the flip. :D

I flipped my 25' footer with just me & Stu. But you guys are correct, 8-10 helpers would have been lots better.

well dave,, I couldnt see myself on my back trying to shape the sheer on the barrel back so i did the bottom and most of the sides than flipped her to do the deck framing, also working around the weather and financing, that just allowed me to keep working on her.

Makes sense, the barrelback rolls more in the stern in than the Riviera so I only had to sit on my duff.

However, I wish I could have seen the sheer lines. I have some corrections to make now but not much

My bad!!!! You are doing the Monaco. You have the same roll as the Riviera. You had me corn'fused with the barrelback comment.

Well, I am glad it was you and not me.

However, if and when I build the second one, I will not finish the topsides until after the roll. But on the other hand, the "beer and food" is part of the fun of the build. Kinda reminds me of deercamps!!. But let's not go there. :D
