Ok so I’m new around here and about to start my first build … Low Voltage, to be followed by Torpedo. Any how to get to the point… Has anybody built the Glen L electric drive system? and if so.. Does it, or does it not tend to overheat? and how loud is it?
I’m rather confident that I could use the water pick up on the lower unit if needed for a cooling jacket around the motor.. but would also really like to know that its quiet.
To help quiet it down I thought of rubber mounting the motor. So what’s the feedback on this???
Or…Would a 100lb thrust trolling motor work just as well?
