Nice electric drive unit

Boy if these were in the $1000-$1500 range it would be ideal for my Lo Voltage...anyone know of any other similar links like this?

I would hate to spend this much and modify it,but these motors have good reviews from what I've heard:

Yes, I've seen their advertisments in wooden boat magazine! Don't think I could cut them up to use in my application...it's just wrong!

There was some ole boy on here that laminated wood over a minnkota and it looked like a rudder above the wader line. Below the wader line you could only see the wheel... Nice touch he did.

Re: Nice electric drive unit
I'm planning on using the engine mounted MinnKotas in Fergal's second link there on each hull of a pontoon boat.
I emailed the distributor about it and found out that the company doesn't recommend them for use for primary propulsion.
I thought that was strange since their entire job is to push the boat around all day long...
I think I posted the reply in a discussion here somewhere.

Duffy Electric Boats has a nice unit but I don't know if they sell them outright.
Re: Nice electric drive unit
I'm anticipating utilizing the motor mounted MinnKotas in Fergal's second connection there on each body of a barge watercraft.
I messaged the merchant about it and discovered that the organization doesn't suggest them for use for an essential drive.
I believed that was weird since their whole occupation is to push the watercraft around throughout the day... I think I posted the answer in discourse here someplace.
