Argosy - Hybrid question

Post by Venus » Sat Jun 25, 2011 7:37 am

From the web site link below, ReGen Nautic offers an hybrid propulsion system for Trawlers.

In your opinion, would this type of technology be used on the Argosy?
If so, would you recommend 1 or 2 electric motors?

Thanks

Every train you see is Hybid. It will certainly work in a boat. If you want about 10 kt, it may be a good answer. If you want 20 kt, maybe not.

For a boat this size definitely 2 screws.
