 Post subject: wiring windshield wipers

I am installing windshield wipers on my boat. Can they be wire like a
simple cabin light circuit? or should the be wired directly to the
distribution panel by themselves? thanks

not mutch of an expert but i would wire them in to the distrobution panel because if they blow the circuit it will be harder to find the problem,
it is possible to wire them in to the lighting circuet but check the amp rating as you may need a bigger fuse witch means you need bigger wiring this adds more weight ect.
