:D Hi to one and all. I am from a little red dot known as Singapore and this would be my first posting.
I am about to complete the Minuet in 3 to 4 months time and expect to launch in March or April 2009.
My first is the Bonanza back in 1973. Does make seem a little old.
Anyway, I would like to utilise a electric outboard, preferably a MinnKota, and would  appreciate very much if someone could advised me on the most approprite power rating and shaft length to purchase. A 42" seems to be too short, according to specs., and a 52" too long.
Mounting a 42" further out and lower would work, but will it tilt up properly for sailing?
Please let there be someone who can solve my dilemma.

Maybe one of those Hi-Low motor brackets that they use for regular outboards?

Thanks for the tip and the direction. Seems to be the right thing to have.
