Good Morning All,
I am at the point in my build where I'm wiring in all my dash accessories.
My volt meter wiring diagram states that the ground wire needs to separate from all other grounds. I have everything else grounded to the Neg on my battery. Since this is a wood boat I cant just screw a ground to the side like you would a car. So any idea on how to do this?
Dan

That statement probably means to keep the ground wire separate from the bonding grounds which on bigger boats particularly sail, you bond the mast hardware, engine block, underwater hardware, rails, etc to an external bonding plate on the hull or through hulls in contact with the water.

Not for your application.

I'll back out and let anyone else chime in here
