All,

Last year I posted on the new members page starting a Key Largo, well since then I started and would like to thank the welcome and advice from those on my post many months ago.

Thought I would share the progress so far; the website is pretty plain and my wife is threatening to bring it into 2012 but it works as a way to show progress.

https://sites.google.com/site/bbkeylargo/

Feedback, encouragement and advice always accepted.

Thanks

Bryan

8) I am always glad to see another builder in the rocky mountian area you're not to far by western standards from me. I am down in the Salt Lake valley

Looking good so far! Great to see someone in this area building one. Hope to see it in person someday if I could.

Looks good to me. I miss being out west. I was stationed at Hill in Ogden for several years and 4 years in Great Falls MT as well. Looking good thus far. I recently almos thad to move so had delayed my build of a squirt but now that we are set to stay here I foresee boat building starting soon here.

No worries about the site's look. As long as there are pics no one will complain. We all live for the pics anyway.

John

I just live south of Hill and was raised here in this area. But the military and work took me everywhere else.

Gents,

Thanks for the reply have now added some more pics of the stem and the engine stringers, even managed a quick stop by Glen-l on a recent trip to LA and picked up a couple of books. Will finish the second stringer then have a 'short' pause to get some cabinets finished in the house.

After that next on list will be encapsulating all of the frames, will need more epoxy so will most likely buy the larger quanity vs. the small batch I started with. Then onto the building form which I will make mobile so I can move the boat around as needed.

Rod your not too far away from here, only about a 4 hour drive or so, John looking forward to seeing some pics hopefully the miltary will keep you in one place long enough to start, Flyinglow you sound as if you may be more local.

I will keep posting as I make progress there is also an email on mysite for an specific questions.

Thanks

Bryan
