If you really want to get a hold of Ken's plans...

First...go to the link below (it should work but if not, cut and paste it in your address bar). It's an archive site that has images of his old site. This will give you the list of the boats and the price of the plans and patterns...

http://web.archive.org/web/200305171045 ... 0905_24893

Then, send Ken a check for the amount of the plans you desire! Write a nice, sincere letter explaining your goals, dreams etc. I think most of us here are sincere in our desire to build a particular design of his. Send him the money! If you want, include a self-addressed and stamped envelope in the your letter to him and if he wishes not to sell you the plans, have him tear up the check and send it back to you. All he'd have to do is drop it in the mail. If you call his number, it says to write his PO Box if you have any questions. So give it a shot! It's legal too! ;-)

Not to give buisness away.......but I think Clark Craft sells Kens plans still. Give it a try. Or just buy Glen-l! Maybe we Glen-l supporters will see barrel back plans in the future?

Don't waste your time. I sent Mr. Hankinson a nice letter of congratulations on his recent retirement. I complemented him on his wonderfull boat designs that are truly one of a kind. In my letter I mentioned the goals and dreams I had for the boat I wanted to build. I even included information about the headwater 14 I had previously built from his plans. Most importantly I included a check for $415.00. Today, I recieved my check in the SASE that I had enclosed. Unfortunately the personal note I had requested about the future of his plans was not included. :(
