WOW, very nice! There is nothing wrong with making your own stuff. While time can calculate into money, in most cases spare time calculates to new found money when you use it to be productive by making your own parts.

You guys amaze me. I have enough trouble working with wood and then see this. Just simply amazing.

Looks great Carlos. Nearly ready to turn her over....the exciting part. I'm just about to start the fibreglassing on my hull. Also looking forward to turning.

I wish I had a place and the skill set to work in metal. It sure looks great.

Hey you know?..... From a certain angle and upside down, that hull looks like it could pass for a HUGE distillory.Hmmmmm. (I'm thinking)

It would be hard to decide which would be better.... a boat or a still. Well, I guess the boat would get you into less trouble. :D But maybe there'd be enough material left over to make the still when you're finished with the boat.

What's that you say?

Ooops, I didn't mean to spill the beans about the REAL reason that you're building in aluminum. Sorry.

ROTFL!!

We boatbuilders DO think alike! :D

I got to thinking that if your still was on board, you wouldn't have to worry too much about running out of fuel at sea. You could always make your own.
