Hmmm, Donn what is your reasoning for not putting flotation above the waterline? It seems that it might useful anywhere you can get it if you need it.

My bad... I meant to say above the water line. One of those problems of building something upside down.

Relatively current photos. I've added about 10 planks to one of the sides, but should give a general idea a to status. I continue to be awed by the lines of the Tahoe. Ken H was a master!

A few more photos, these related to drilling the propeller shaft hole, I hope may be helpful.

Various stages of the build. I really struggled with where the land the battens and wish I had followed Brad T or Tony H's lead.

Oooops, Didn't mean to post a photo of my children...But not sorry I did!

A few more photos including the scarfing jig I mocked up (inspired by a YouTube post). It uses sliding drawer guides set at a 10:1 ratio

The boat looks great Donn. The slide-route-scarf-a-maker is a new one. What diameter hole did you use for the drive shaft hole?

Thanks Tom. The bit I used was 1.75". Per Roberta's post, I'll line it with fiberglass tubing with an outside diameter of just under 1.75" and an inside diameter of just under 1.25". All the dimensions assume the recommended 1" propeller shaft.

Cheers,

Donn

Great work Donn and I agree. The Tahoe has beautiful lines. I loved the skeletal effect before the planking went on to the hull.
