Your project is inspiring and extremely creative and original. Hopefully, you will enjoy this boat for many years. Do I have this right: The boat has been extended to 29.5' plus an additional 2' for the swim step, making a total of 31.5'? Or, the boat is a total of 29.5' in length including the swim step? Thanks for any clarity you can add.

Thanks. Was just curious. Fantastic looking build. A real big boat that looks like she's going to turn out to be a real beauty with countless innovations!

I am down to only three major things left to complete, finish berth area storage, putt flooring down, and add chart plotter and gauges. I had forgot how much work there is to making cabinet drawers but they are done and installed. The trailer company called earlier this week and said they had had started building my trailer so will be making a trip to Florida soon to pick up the trailer.

curtgard--your boat is beautiful and your cabinetry looks great. That's a lot of drawers! Congratulations...

I went to Florida over the weekend and picked up my trailer from a custom trailer builder. It was 1400 miles one way. I tried to find someone closer but everyone closer either didn't think they could build a trailer to fit my boat or wanted way too much money. The trailer is 37'6" overall length. Now, to get the boat on the trailer.

I got a Ace.

Yes, the trailer was made by Ace. Have you had any issues with yours Kens?
Re: Time to come out of the closet, True Grit
I had the galvanized bunk brackets tight up against the aluminum frame, it started some corrosion, I moved them over for a air gap.
My brakes rusted up, but I am in salt water usage.
It has been a good trailer.
I got the Kodiak disc, surge brakes,
I don't think there is anything that doesn't corrode in salt water though.

I like it that they gave you a spare hub with the spare tire mount! That's a must in a trailer!
Re: Time to come out of the closet, True Grit
I just noticed that !
I didn't get that option with mine.

I got one step closer to hitting the water. Yesterday, myself and two friends loaded the boat onto the trailer. Wow, that was a job. I still must adjust the bunks and skeg support before taking it to the dealer to have the outboard motor installed. I am leaving the dust on the bottom so it washes off at first launch instead of breaking a bottle of champagne.
