Neeley's Barrelback - Sacramento
After over two years of asking many questions on this forum, I thought I would let you all know that I am actually building something.
Two more coats of varnish and I'll be ready for the flip. Pictures of the boat and dollies attached.
Thanks for all your help so far.
Jim

Looks great! I like the dollies! But, I am into over kill. We have had several cart failures on here though. You won't have that problem.

Very nice. I like the colors of the wood. Are they natural or did you stain them?

It was stained with interlux filler stain, #573 chris craft mahogany. I needed to stain to hide the filled brad holes left from applying the planking. The stain was a breeze to apply. I would highly recommend it.

Ok, and what wood is under that stain?
Isn't it amazing!! The person that never has the fortitude to pursue his own dreams, will be the first to try and discourage you from pursuing yours.

Sapele (african mahogany). Nice hardwood to work with.

Here are some pictures of the flippin' boat party I had last weekend, Saturday 19, 2016.
I have come to the conclusion that it's over but not over. Lots of work ahead.

Be careful. These things grow after the flip.
