Looking good! If it's too stiff you can wrap the chine in towels and soak it with boiling water.

I have a steamer from past projects. I'm more concerned of the look of the drastic twist. I didn't lay the batten back as far as I should on frame 5

Looks right for a FF. Remember the actual chine line is in the center of the chine log (at least up forward).

What do you mean by chine line? Where to plywood lines meet?

That's right. Forward of the transition point (where the plywood goes from a lap joint to a butt joint). I don't know if chine line is the right terminology.

Well the first sheer clamp layer is on and the second is 1/2 down. I'll add the backs and the ones to the forward portion of the boat (frames 4-breasthook) and put the second layer of the keel on tomorrow.

Looks good. I would convert it to bunks though. Much better support.

Conrad... I think you hit the jackpot on that trailer.... As Matt said, convert to bunks as rollers will sink into your wood hull. I sold a set of rollers like yours (only not as nice) for $200 one time on craigslist.

So, I came into a ton of walnut, oak, mahogany, and maple for 400$...thoughts on doing a portion of the bow and stern decking in a criss craft style with mahogany?
