Barrelback Gentlemans Racer

Postby bbeck » Fri Oct 07, 2016 1:48 pm

Getting closer. The boat was in the water last year for a float test. I am going to wait till spring up here in the Upper Peninsula for maiden voyage. Hopefully all goes well.

That's a neat variation.
I really like that long hood (bow).

Looks Great! :D
I love the look of the darker sides.

As I said in your earlier posts, I'm glad to see that your modifications are working out. I can't wait to see pictures of you ripping across the lakes. Let's hope for an early spring!

WOW, I'm impressed! I love it!

I have two questions...

1. are the topsides painted or just stained dark enough that no wood grain shows up in the photos?

2. What part of the world do you live in? I'd like to know if there's ever a chance that I'd get to see this boat in real life.

Again, beautiful boat!
Isn't it amazing!! The person that never has the fortitude to pursue his own dreams, will be the first to try and discourage you from pursuing yours.

Thanks Dave. The sides are urethane brown. The boat is 21 feet with aluminum stringers. It floats where it should and fuel is ahead of the mother-in-laws quarters; to adjust weight if needed. Hopefully I will not need trim tabs. Thanks Bill Marquette, MI
