Thanks Jim,
I’ve been looking at yours, nice, neat and not to complicated. Don’t tell anyone, but I don’t know much about woodworking and I’m scared of a router.
What are the 2 inlay strips in your dash?

Polished stainless steel set in dados. My build pics show the process. Don't be afraid of a router use a flush trim bit with a 1/2" MDF template. Trim about 1/16" and you'll be ok. I still have my template if you want it.

100 degrees in the garage so production moved into climate controlled area. The 8 point umbilical cord from engine to the dash off the donor ski boat was a little rough so I thought it wise to start with a fresh wiring harness.
Plan is to make the starting/ignition and gauges a dedicated system, let’s call it the “Essential” bus. All other electrical components will be on a separate bus, maybe call it the “DC service” bus. Lights, pumps, blowers, outlet for an air pop popcorn machine, etc...

That will be a tedious project but probably wise not to reuse all that old-ass wiring.

Dash is coming together. Next is to inlay 2 stainless strips like the original B-backs had.

DaveO Mentioned a flux-capacitor. In case you are having a hard time finding one, I provided you with a link below.
Make sure you order the Marine Version.

Once I knew what i was doing I enjoyed the electrical work, it just took a long time for my puny brain to figure it out. Looks great, enjoying the progress reports!
